AK Connect newsletter

A new statewide disability information newsletter is here and available to anyone in the state of Alaska free of charge! Published by the STeP Center and part of the Alaska Family Directory, this monthly newsletter will bring you information on laws and policies affecting special education, ideas and hints for supporting individuals with disabilities, where to go for resources and assistance, what's happening around the state and much, much more. This newsletter applies to all individuals with disabilities from early childhood development to adult life and seniors.

Regional Information

This section includes calendars of educational opportunities for parents and educators that are specific to a region of Alaska. Included in each regional section is a listing of community organizations that provide assistance to families of special needs children in that specific area. Regional information is organized according to the following regions:
