A service specializing from children age 3 to the geriatric in Speech Therapy. Patients may be seen as outpatients in the clinic or in their own home. Treatment areas include developmental or acquired communication disorders arising congenitally or from stroke, trauma, or diseases of the brain, head and neck. Office is in Fairbanks.

Parents as Teachers (PAT) program

Funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, PAT supports training parent educators to provide early childhood information to parents. The vision of PAT is "All parents will be their child's first and most important teacher." The PAT curriculum incorporates child development information, early literacy development, and parent-child activities appropriate for the age of their child. This program is available for everyone in the Fairbanks area. There is priority on enrolling Alaskan Native families as required in the grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Education.
