2012-13 Registration/Enrollment Information

Special notes

• Proof of residency (utility bill, phone bill, etc.) will be verified for the following situations:  all students in any school involved in a boundary change; any new-to-school or new-to-district student (including kindergarten) throughout the school year; and all zone exemptions.
• Families who are out of town on these dates may register at school upon their return. Students who have not registered will not be placed on a class list.
• New-to-district students including kindergarteners are required to submit the following documents at the time of registration: 
  • Birth Certificate (copy acceptable)
  • Current immunization records
  • Physical examination (for kindergarteners)
  • Current physical and mailing address and phone numbers of students and parents
  • Names and phone numbers of emergency contacts and individuals who may pick up the child from school
  • Name and address of previous school attended
  • Copies of legal papers if there is a custody situation

Grades 2 – 6 classes begin Aug. 22, 2012
Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes begin Aug. 29, 2012

Kindergarten and first-grade teachers will meet individually with parents and students for a brief orientation and assessment activities on Aug. 24, 27 and 28.

This information assists teachers in making decisions about classroom instruction and helps establish a positive partnership between the home and the school.

After registration, schools will contact families to arrange appointments.
