2012-13 Registration/Enrollment Information
High school
Registration will be held at all Anchorage School District comprehensive high
schools August 6-9. If
you need assistance determining the school your child will attend, please use our online boundary tools or call Demographics at 907-348-5190. Families new to the district may find our Newcomers' Guide helpful.
New-to-the-district high school students and in-district transfers grades 9-12
Parents of new-to-district students and in-district transfers should contact their school to schedule an appointment after July 11 with the registrar of their school.
Students may pick up their schedules at the date and times shown below for their grade during the week of August 6.
Documents that must be brought to registration:
- Current immunization records. See the district's Health Services page for additional details.
- Unofficial transcripts from former school
- Proof of residency, such as two utility bills or a purchase agreement with your residence address
- Person other than the legal guardian who is registering children should bring proof of temporary guardianship
- Current IEP and Eligibility Reports required if applicable
Pre-registered and returning high
school students
If you are not available to activate your class schedule during the designated date and time during the week of August 6 please contact your school to make arrangements. |
Students must clear all fines/charges incurred in any ASD school before they can activate their class schedule.
Please come to registration prepared to return books or pay fines/fees.

Avail returning student registration will be August 6 and 7 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. New students please call for information and or an appointment.
Benson Secondary registration will be August 6-9 from 8 - 11 a.m. and noon - 3 p.m.
Crossroads registration will be August 8 and 9 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

New student registration will be August 2, 11 a.m. –7 p.m. and August 3, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Returning student registration will be August 6, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Please call the school for more information.
Steller
New-to-Steller and seventh-grade student registration will be 8 - 10 a.m. on August 7. Grades 8 - 12 may register from noon - 2 p.m.
Returning Steller students in grades 8 - 12 may register 8 - 10 a.m. and noon - 2 p.m. on August 8. Please call the school for more information.
