Davidson Services was hired to create a strategic
information technology plan to support the Anchorage School District's
mission to "educate students for success in life." The
plan would:
- provide ASD with a road map for efficient delivery of critical
resources to support is mission
- reflect a K-12 enterprise-wide vision for information technology
- create a framework to assist ASD in evaluating future technology
initiatives and related costs.
Davidson Services conducted a series of workshops
and interviews with key leadership, instructional, administrative
and technical staff to understand the district's vision for information
technology and how it is used to support instruction, administration
and operations. Findings and recommendation resulting from the information
collected and analysis performed was developed and supported through
best practices and emerging trends within the education marketplace.
