| The Network, Microsystems,
Communications, and Help Desk department is lead by Senior Communications
Systems Analyst, Wes Bell. Wes has been with the district for over
12 years. Wes manages a department that consists of four groups:
Network Equipment Support
This group provides installation and on-going support of the network
hardware equipment installed across the district. The Network group
also has responsibility for Internet Connectivity, and the firewall
and filtering hardware and software installed within the district.

Server Administrators/System Administrators
The Server Administrator Support group provides support for enterprise
server operating systems and software, and manages Directory Services,
email, and the Antivirus System. This group supports both Apple
and Intel software platforms but does not provide hardware maintenance
support.

Communication Wiring
The Communication Wiring group is responsible for the installation
and support of the data communications building cabling through
out the district. This group installs both copper and fiber connections
and is certified by several manufacturers.

Help Desk/Technology Support
The Help Desk/Technology Support group was created to provide a single point of contact
for trouble calls for all information technology support groups.
This would include such areas as: Personal Computers, both Apple
and Intel; Network equipment; Voice communications; User Identifications
and passwords; Data wiring; Application support; and Hardware maintenance,
including computers and AV equipment. This group also provides desktop support
for personal computers installed across the district. This group
supports both Apple and Intel software platforms but does not provide
hardware maintenance support.
