Keynote Speaker: Hans K Meeder
Hans K. Meeder is President of the Meeder Consulting Group, LLC, a firm providing consulting services in school improvement related to high school redesign, career and technical education, and adolescent literacy. Mr. Meeder has an extensive and varied career in education and workforce policy, with an emphasis on high school redesign, career and technical education, and workforce quality. Immediately prior to forming the Meeder Consulting Group, Meeder served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Education in the U.S. Department of Education Office of Vocational and Adult Education.

Industrial Technology teachers will have an opportunity to discover new multi-dimensional software offered by the CAD Academy. The academy will be demonstrating products like A+ CAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp Pro, ArchiCAD and others. (Note: This strand begins @ 4:00 pm Thursday and continues all day on Friday at the KCC).

The Grand Carousel
Each year, one of the final sessions of the February Conference is the Grand Carousel. Unlike the more intensive sessions of the conference, the carousel “round tables” offer a quick sampling of varied topics. During this session, conference participants have the opportunity to choose and attend four sessions of interest. Round table sessions of the past have included, digital photography, robotics, flight simulators, GPS navigation, cooking, and several varied presentations by professionals in the field of Career Technology Education. We hope to see you at the Grand Carousel. You’re sure to find something of interest.
