Note

May is here and we will be bidding farewell to long time cohorts and friends.
Library Resources will see many new faces and a shift in staffing across the district.

TLC is releasing an upgrade to the PAC and a complete re-design of the reports module; To facilitate the many changes Library Resources will process requests until May 10th.
Processing requests received after May 10th will be completed over the summer, a return email will be sent when school commences in August and we are sure who to send it to.

Summer processing is a welcome change, Library Resources staff loves books and to physically see the titles when cataloging is again a welcome change, please barcode the material, label the box(s.) and request a truck transfer or drop them off.

Library Resources will return the items with spine labels, all that will need to be done is check the items in and place on your shelves.See TLC help files for additional instructions.

Mission of the Anchorage School District is to educate all students for success in life. School librarians work in a collaborative manner with all educators and parents to promote student achievement through library multimedia.

To accomplish this the district established a centralized library services and automation department called Library Resources. Library Resources facilitates the development of the library index.

Kid PAC and LS2 PAC are the online catalog to access all ASD library material. The search tools include limiting material to just the students home school. There are also quick search tools by subject, interests and research by topic.
