We appreciate any offers of gifts and donations for the school library programs. this is one way that the community can participate in expanding the scope of our collection. If you would like to talk to us about donations, contact Ruth Jean Shaw, shaw_ruth_jean@asdk12.org. All school librarians are given the opportunity to participate in selecting from the gifts donated.
The Anchorage School District will accept donations of money, books that are in good condition, bilingual materials, magazines, subscriptions, art work, posters, teaching aids, and such other items that may be useful to the library program.
Gifts of money should be made out to: Anchorage School District.
The library will not accept material that is found to contain mold, mildew or material that is deemed unsuitable by school librarians for the age group specified.
