MyLearningPlan.com

Anchorage School District has licensed My Learning Plan to track all district professional development. It is an intuitive and easy to use web-based system. You can go to My Learning Plan and log on with your Lastname_Firstname@asdk12.org using the password - General. That will be your username and password until you change it. If you need an account, and are an ASD Employee, you can download an MLP Account Request Form (PDF). Some of the things you can do on My Learning Plan are:

• Track your professional development.
• Access your professonal development records from any computer.
• Submit training requests and receive approval online.
• Enroll in district offered professional development
• Apply for professional leave
• Request a mentor
• Complete district sponsored surveys online

My Portfolio
Click this menu option on the far left side of the screen to view your portfolio of professional learning. It may be blank until activities have been entered.

Activities
This section contains the district catalog and is used to view the catalog of inservice activities available in your district. You are able to monitor the enrollment status of each activity, and sign up for activities that interest you.

Forms
If you plan to enroll for an activity that is not in the district catalog, use one of the listed forms to submit your request for approval.

My Info
Use options within My Info to enter your personal learning goals, maintain your user profile, and to view the Certificate information that the Department of Education has on file for you.

Change Password
Select this function to change your password. This is recommended for new users.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  How do I maintain my  MLP Account?

A:  As you close out the year or transfer out of the building, department or are ready to leave employment with ASD, please do the following:

Log onto MLP
Click the My User Profile Select the appropriate Building and Department.
Click SAVE at the bottom of the form.

Clear out activities in your “Approved and In Progress” section of your MLP workspace that have past dates by doing the following:

Click the activity title Scroll down to the Actions Section.
 
If you did not attend, click DROP, then click the YES button on the confirmation window.

Otherwise… If there is an evaluation, click the evaluation, complete I, then click SAVE at the bottom of the form. Click the return button.

Click the link “Mark Complete”; then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the Activity Completion Form that will automatically appear.

Q:  I’ve finished a class or training – now what do I do?

A:  After you complete an activity or class, please click its title in your MLP "Approved and In Progress" section.

Scroll down to the Actions section, if there is an Evaluation, click its name, complete the evaluation, then click SAVE at the bottom of the form. Next Click the RETURN button that will be in the center of your screen.

Scroll down to the Actions section again, then click the "Mark Complete" link. The Activity Completion form will appear on your screen. Scroll down and click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.

Of course, If you did not attend, please click the red word DROP, then click YES on the confirmation window.
