Elementary Express, 2009-10

The newsletter Elementary Express is created for families of children with special needs in grades kindergarten through sixth. It is published quarterly during the school year beginning in 2010. Features of the newsletter include articles to help parents stay informed and connected with community agencies. “Get Connected” highlights a different community agency and “Helping Kids Succeed Alaskan Style” has developmental assets. The Activity Calendar lists events and agencies catering to children in this age range. Any person who wishes to receive this newsletter via e-mail can send a request by e-mailing: johnson_karren@asdk12.org.    

Using Elementary Express

Elementary Express is delivered via e-mail and direct mailing to families of children with special needs in grades kindergarten through sixth. It is created in an Acrobat PDF format and is viewable by both Macintosh and PC computers.
