Cyber Security Unit
Optional Lessons and Activities
- Risks of Spyware (iSafe) (PDF)
Students learn about Spyware and what to do about it. They are encouraged to share the information through public service announcements.
- Private and Personal Information (PDF)
Students learn that some Web sites that look interesting may request private information in order to enter. Students create a collage of personal but not private, information.
- Cyber Security Tips Brochure (PDF)
Students use the several Web sites to create brochures that they will share with their families.
- How Safe Are You?
This online quiz created by the National Cyber Security Alliance can be used to determine how safe and secure your computer is. It would be an excellent homework assignment that students could do with their parents at home.
