Rules and Regulations of S.L.E.D.

  • The user is an Alaska resident or an authorized user of an Alaskan institution who is physically located in the State of Alaska or temporarily traveling outside the state. Authorized users agree not to share database access information with unauthorized users.

  • The user will access the databases for personal and not commercial use, i.e., information will not be sold or bartered.

  • The user will abide by copyright law, e.g., not post fulltext articles to websites or electronic discussion groups.

  • The user will not use the databases to send unsolicited or harassing email.

This project has been developed through the efforts of the University of Alaska, the State Library, and libraries statewide with funding support from the State Legislature.
