ASD middle schools participate in Project Citizen Showcase
Three middle schools participated in the Project Citizen Showcase at the BP Energy Center on April 20. Judges from the school district and from the community gave high praise to the middle school students who participated. There was a blend of active citizenship and scholarship on display. The students represented their schools well in both presentation and decorum.
Project Citizen is part of the eighth-grade civics curriculum and helps students learn how to be active citizens by engaging with government trying to solve local community public policy problems.
