- 2,356 high school students took advanced
placement, college-level courses in 2005-2006
Did you know?
- ASD met 24 of 31 federal Adequate Yearly Progress
targets in 2005
- Over 90 different languages are spoken
by our students
- Anchorage students need 22.5 credits to graduate,
the most stringent requirements in Alaska
- Ninety-six percent of 12th graders who met ASD's graduation requirements also passed the Alaska High School Graduation Qualifying Exam (HSGQE) — proving their skills in reading, writing and math — and earned diplomas.
