About our school

West Anchorage High School is a diverse, student-centered community where students and adults come together for academic excellence.  We offer students a wide variety of opportunities to experience a rigorous and engaging education ranging from highly gifted, International Baccalaureate, Spanish and Russian immersion, School Through the Arts and our medical and process technology academies. Our students’ succeed in the classroom, on stage and on the athletic fields giving them a well-rounded high school experience.
