Calendar Conflicts - September 2004

Due to an activity scheduling conflict with Yom Kippur during the 2004-05 school year, Superintendent Comeau requested a task force be formed in September 2004 to examine the issue of available dates for students to compete within the activities arena.

Funding - February 2004

In February 2004, a Student Activities Task Force was formed to reevaluate the purpose, scope and funding of high school activities. In April of that year, the task force forwarded recommendations to Superintendent Comeau on a variety of topics, including: travel, outsourcing, graduated fee schedule, alternate funding, ASAA membership, admission, extra-curricular activities and academic clubs, use of the old Dimond High School gymnasium and alternative scheduling.
