Class Introduction: Honors U.S. History for is a two-semester course that studies the evolution of the United States as a nation and examines America’s role in world affairs. Chronologically, the fall semester begins with the American Revolution and concludes with the 1920's. The spring semester is devoted to a study of the United States during the remainder of the 20th Century. During the year we will focus upon two major themes: the development of American democracy, and the rise of the United States to the status of international power.
