Career Technical Education
In today's ever changing world, education needs to be leading the charge of preparing students for success after high school. Career and Technology Education (CTE) is a collaborative effort of industry leaders, post-secondary education, school districts, teachers, students, parents and the community doing just that.
CTE works with local industry to identify the skills needed to be successful in the workplace and with educational experts to align curriculum to provide students with these skills. Students can graduate high school with college credit, industry certifications, apprenticeships and job-ready skills making their transition into the post high school world seamless and successful. Take a look at all the components that make up this incredible system.
Students enrolling in CTE courses can choose from a variety of pathway options at each comprehensive high school or the King Career Center.
