Special
Olympics Alaska provides year-round sports
training and athletic competition in a
variety of Olympic-type sports for people
eight years of age and older with intellectual
disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities
to develop physical fitness, demonstrate
courage, experience joy and participate
in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship
with their families, other Special Olympics
athletes and the community.

Association. Nicolle Egan with Special
Olympics Alaska has made tremendous strides
in giving students with disabilities recognition
in the world of sports. Through Nicolle's
dedication & passion, she has created
opportunities for students with disabilities
at a level that has not been reached in
