Finding a neighborhood school If you have questions about which school boundary you are located in after using one of the resources below, please contact our Demographics Department at 907-348-5190. There are three ways to determine your neighborhood school: the School Finder tool, locator books and maps. Maps   All maps formatted as PDF files and are designed to be viewed on your computer screen or printed on standard 8.5" x 11" paper. Elementary Anchorage  Eagle River/Chugiak  Middle School Anchorage   Eagle River/Chugiak High School Anchorage Eagle River/Chugiak Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) Elmendorf Grades K-6 Richardson Grades K-6   School Finder   The School Finder tool allows you to search for neighborhood schools using any address located within the Anchorage School District's boundaries. Begin Search » Locator Books   School Locator Book Includes Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, Girdwood, Elmendorf Air Force Base and Fort Richardson Bird Creek, Indian, and Rainbow Grades K-8 attend Girdwood School. Some K-6 students can attend Ocean View Elementary, check the Ocean View bus schedule for your street or call the Transportation Department at 907-742-1200. Grades 9-12 attend South Anchorage High School.
