Title VII, Indian Education Program

Resources

Our resource center is full of materials and ideas for activities that can be presented in the classroom. It is located at 1016 West 6th Avenue. Below are a few samples of resources we have available.

Elizabeth Peratrovich Day, February 16

Elizabeth Peratrovich was an Alaska Native Civil Rights leader. She successfully lobbied the Territory of Alaska to pass the first anti-discrimination law in the nation that was signed into law into the territory of Alaska, by Governor Ernest Gruening on February 16, 1945. We have teacher resources and student activities to share in the classroom.
