I grew up in a small mid-west farming village. I moved to Alaska and have lived in the Eagle River area since 1973. I have my bachelor's degree in Science of Nursing and have continued taking courses in Early Education, Children with Special Needs, and Arts.
I enjoy teaching, reading, being a grandmother, nursing/care giving, and many arts including singing, quilting, stained glass, beading, pottery, and crafting with different media.
I am the mother of three grown sons who live here in Alaska with their families. I had the privilege of teaching kindergarten, science, and math in my son's small school for 22 years. My husband and I were pilots at that
time so much of their childhood was spent camping, fishing and enjoying Alaska.
