I grew up in a small mid-west farming village. I moved to Alaska and have lived in the Eagle River area since 1973. I have my bachelor's degree in Science of Nursing and have continued taking courses in Early Education, Children with Special Needs, and Arts.
I enjoy teaching, reading, being a grandmother, nursing/care giving, and many arts including singing, quilting, stained glass, beading, pottery, and crafting with different media.
I am the mother of three grown sons who live here in Alaska with their families. I had the privilege of teaching kindergarten, science, and math in my son's small school for 22 years. My husband and I were pilots at that
time so much of their childhood was spent camping, fishing and enjoying Alaska.
This is the end of my third year in the Anchorage School District and I am starting my second year at Russian Jack as a Title VII Youth Development Tutor. I love to visit with student's parents and the best way to reach me is
