I was born in Germany, lived in Scotland the first 5 years of my life, then moved to Anchorage. I lived here until I graduated from Dimond High School in 1992. I moved back to Anchorage in late 2007. In between I have lived in Milwaukee, Seattle, Cordova (AK), Los Angeles, Santa Cruz (CA), and Las Vegas. My mother is German and my father is English. I hold dual citizenship with Germany and Great Britain. I speak German decently but less than fluently. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz. I also studied Biochemistry and Philosophy the first time I attempted college at Marquette University in Milwaukee. I spent about a semester and a half in the teaching master's program at UAA. I enjoy online gaming, rowing, rock climbing, poker, and contract bridge.
I have been with Indian Ed a little more than 1 year. I believe children need support and encouragement from both the school and home in order to achieve and learn to their full potential. I support students with math tutoring, after school homework help, and Native Youth Olympics. The best way to reach me is by phone. |
