2011-12 Alaska Design Challenge:
A Competitive Event for Seniors in Technology Education
Seniors in Technology Education are invited to participate in a problem solving competition named the 2011-12 Alaska Design Challenge. The two participants who rank highest in the competition will win a trip to Anchorage, Alaska where they will present their solution to the
Anchorage School District Career and Technology Education Annual Conference in February 2012 and receive a $1,000 stipend.

Participants are to be Technology Education majors (undergraduate or graduate) who will graduate in the spring or summer of 2012 with a teaching certificate/licensure in Technology Education.

After the
on-line application has been received and promptly reviewed the 2011-12 Alaska Design Challenge will be e-mailed to the participant

.Participants can compete as individuals or in groups of two (2) to complete the design challenge.

The solution to the design challenge is to be submitted electronically by the October 30, 2011 deadline to the designated e-mail address.
