The IGNITE Program is a pull-out program for gifted students who have met the eligibility criteria under the State Gifted education plan. The program is available to students in 2nd through 6th grades. The IGNITE Program offers enrichment opportunities that incorporates universal themes with classroom learning in alignment with the district's standards and goals. The IGNITE teachers may be working with students from as many as seven schools at one time with multiple grade levels represented in each class section. Each certified gifted student recieves 2-3 hours per week of gifted services. There are 21 service schools and transportation is provided for students to attend IGNITE at sites other than their home school.
