Many grants require statistical or factual information for your school or program. This can help establish your need, give a sense of urgency or excitement, and paint a compelling picture. Even when the grant doesn’t require it, we gain an edge over our competition when we provide solid, concrete numbers and evidence.

The closest source for this information might be your school registrar or administrative assistant. You also can find a lot of information online on the ASD Web site - give these pages a try:

Your school Web site!
It has your own School Report Card, which includes demographics, standardized test scores, teacher statistics, and school goals.

ASD Assessment and Evaluation
Here you will find the latest Profiles of Performance. Your school’s School Report Card can be accessed through the right-hand sidebar.   To the left, you will see a link to the School Climate and Connectedness Survey.  You can find a lot of District-level data and comparative information by strolling through the Profile.

ASD Demographics
This site has good information on ethnicities and overall enrollment, dating back to FY 1999. If you need monthly membership reports, your school or program office may have these already.  If not, call (348-5190) or e-mail Demographics.

Free and Reduced Lunch Statistics (PDF)
Do you need your school’s low-income or Free/Reduced lunch data? An excellent source is the Title I program’s annual NCLB Grant Application. The link above has low-income data for each school, pulled from Title I's NCLB grant application.
