Helpful Hint:
If you are working on a project in which you will use multiple iLife applications (iTunes, iPhoto, and/or iMovie, iDVD), it is recommended that you open each application in this order:

iTunes --> iPhoto --> iMovie --> iDVD

This way the applications opened last will be able to see the others. In other words, iTunes works by itself. iPhoto allows you to use iTunes with it. iMovie allows you to use iTunes and iPhoto so those need to be opened first before opening iMovie.

Other iApplications:
The Apple web site has detailed information on iCal and iSync.
iCal
iCal is a personal calendar application. iCal lets you keep track of your appointments and events with multiple calendars featuring views of upcoming activities by day, week or month.
iCal lets you create separate color-coded calendars for your home, school and work schedules, and it lets you view all your different calendars at the same time from within a single unified window.

iSync
iSync is syncronizing software for multiple Mac computers, your PDA, or your cell phone.
