Goals and objectives for 2006-2007

  1.  Provide library automation support and training
  2. Upgrade library automation software
  3. Expand and promote ASD WEBCAT with new library holdings
  4. Enhance library bibliographic records with curriculum enriched MARC (CEMARC)
  5. Update Using SIRSI GL3 WORKFLOWS with Library Resources
  6. Work on curriculum related activities
  7. Continue library public relations: Library Resources bulletins, activity reports, Information retrieval tips and annual report
  8. Facilitate library automation sessions with ASD community
  9. Continue expanding framework for online reference budget (WORLDBOOK, WORLDCAT, Books-In-Print, WILSON SELECT PLUS, and other options)
  10. Expand the ASD library index for the new Muldoon area middle school, Whaley library, Blind and Visually Impaired program, AVSERVICES media collection.
  11. Seek adequate budget for much needed extra help
