How to Display & Print finished reports

Introduction: TLC Reports Module uses Adobe Reader to view finished reports.
Instructions are general, configurations may differ, for additional support contact Library Resources 742-6091.

Adobe popup menu has changed in Adobe Reader version 9.4 and X
Pre 9 Adobe Reader popup menu on a Mac/Dell

Sites report the new Dells have Adobe Reader 9 and no popup menu.

The print icon is located top of finished report, also the top menu bar, File>Print, opens print window and functions

How to:
Display and Print finished reports in Firefox browser window

• Safari – reports module does not currently display finished reports
• Firefox 3.0 / 3.6 – Does not display finished reports in browser
• Firefox/Adobe Reader plug-in is required to display finished reports in browser
• Request MAC Adobe plug in from ASD Help Desk

• Adobe Reader 9 and X – the popup menu has been updated and the print icon eliminated
• Mouse over the bottom of the finished report, a popup menu bar appears (below screen shot)
• Select thumb tack icon, “Open PDF in Preview”

• PDF preview window opens
• Select “File” from the top menu bar, then select “Print”
• “Print”, will automatically print all pages of the report, if you want to print only certain pages select, “Print Selected Pages”
• Preview window has a review pane on the right to display all pagers, click on a page to display in main preview window, the current preview page highlights with a blue border

• To print certain consecutive pages, click on 1st page you want to print then hold shift key down and mouse over and click on each consecutive page(s) you want to print, each page that is selected to print, will highlight with a blue border

Review printer name is correct, click OK
Review Print range options to print only certain pages of report
