Library Resources

Volunteers

Volunteer work is needed for information retrieval projects with all schools. Tasks include working with computers updating indexing system, making spine labels and library clean up. Additionally searching the Internet for bibliographic citations, training is provided.

Interested in helping the Anchorage School District with library support? Contact Ruth Jean Shaw 742-6094, or e-mail; shaw_ruth_jean@asdk12.org.

The ASD libraries use library automation application SIRSI Workflows. Each library has a site specific library index as well as access to the districtwide catalog. You can view the ASD library index on WebCat. Log in as ASD.
