Mission Statement

The Migrant Education Program will assist families and students in becoming self-sufficient.

Objectives

To help Migrant Education families function effectively in the Anchorage community.

To assist Migrant Education students to attain high academic standards.

Goal I - Migrant Education will integrate and support existing educational services.

Goal II - Migrant Education will identify and assess individual family needs and assist in development of an appropriate action plan for each family.

Goal III - Migrant Education will provide opportunities for reading readiness for pre-school through grade 3.

Goal IV - Migrant Education will provide opportunities for developing family literacy.

Operational Goal - Migrant Education will offer community centered services to eligible families.
