6th Grade Orchestra:
Supply List

The following supplies can be purchased at a number
of local music stores. Look under “Music” in the phone
book yellow pages for a list of stores. Be sure to call
ahead to be sure all supplies are in stock for your
particular instrument.

1. Book - All for Strings, Book I OR Artistry in Strings,
Book I (orchestra teachers will provide information
regarding which book to purchase)
2. Folding music stand for home practice and
festivals
3. Pencil
4. Folder with pockets for music
5. Supplies:

Rosin and a cleaning cloth (purchased, or a
clean, soft rag about 8” square).

Shoulder rest for violins and violas.

Endpin holder for cellos & basses.

Optional: spare set of strings, humidifier
