The Eagle River Nature Center offers numerous opportunities to teachers, students and families to explore, discover and take advantage of the spectacular natural resources found in our area. In addition, the tours, presentations, information and materials that are provided truly help to enrich our curriculum, our learning, our experiences. The classes that are provided greatly complement the Earth Systems science curriculum at each grade level.

Our students demonstrate continued academic success and a sense of pride and accomplishment that we feel are attributed in part to the wonderful encouragement, acknowledgement and support that the center provides. The Eagle River Nature Center is indeed a key supporter of our youth.

We are truly grateful to the center for supporting our students, for the many volunteer hours spent on our behalf, the programs, materials, supplies, field trips, workshops, input and encouragement. We know that with our continued partnership, we will continue to ensure that our kids are fully prepared to be the leaders that we need tomorrow. Our Partnership proves that the unity of community, parents, businesses and school is a powerful determiner of a successful student. The learning adventures and activities in this year’s after-school Nature Club are thoroughly enjoyed by all students.

We look forward to our continued partnership and the many projects that support our children and enhance their learning.

Carole Lloyd, Naturalist, Eagle River Nature Center

It’s been really exciting to provide opportunities for over 2,000 students a year to visit the Center where they can explore and discover first-hand the wonders of nature. We are so fortunate to have these spectacular natural resources practically in our backyard. Of course, we have year-round programs from Nature Clubs to family outings that offer learning experiences for the entire community. It's really rewarding for me as a naturalist to see young people getting so excited about our natural environment.
