School Business Partnerships
Ambassador Program
The concept for the School Business Partnership Ambassador program grows from the need to establish and maintain regular supportive contact with ASD Principals. The Ambassadors are members of the School Business Partnership Board of Directors. They select the schools with which they wish to work. With 95 schools and 25 Directors, each Ambassador would be responsible for approximately 4 schools, assuming full board participation. Ambassadors will establish contact with his or her school principals, as well as school coordinators at the secondary level, and be available for discussions concerning Partnership programs.
-
Ambassadors will be introduced to the secondary SBP coordinators at the beginning of the school year at a coordinator training meeting.
-
Ambassadors will be introduced to the principals at the beginning of the school year at an ASD General Leadership meeting.
-
During the first month of the school year, each Ambassador will make contact with his or her schools’ principals and coordinators. (Send copy of any written communication to Executive Director.) This contact may be in the form of a face to face meeting, a letter or a phone call.
-
On a monthly basis, each Ambassador will make contact via phone, email or in person and send an update to ED.
-
The intent of this Ambassador program is to provide the principals/coordinators with an easy and convenient channel of communication between the schools and the SBP Board of Directors. This support will assist in building partnerships that are meaningful to the school.
