Career Resource Centers
A student's first step in their search for scholarships, grants and loans should be to visit the Career Resource Center (CRC) at their high school or KCC. The advisors have lots of great resources, advice and are there to assist students in what can seem like an overwhelming process. They can also assist students in filling out job applications, writing resumes and looking for vocational training.
Careers in High Growth Job Industry
Current information on jobs and career opportunities as part of the High Growth Job Training Initiative is provided under an ASD/DOLWD (Department of Labor and Workforce Development) partnership at the Youth Hiring Center, located in Portable #3 behind the King Career Center. The advisors will also work with students and teachers are part of the Anchorage Construction Academy.
