| Junior Achievement has been a non-voting
member on the board of SBP since its beginnings.
We support the idea of businesses in the schools.
A cornerstone of JA is to put a business volunteer
in the classroom with our materials that teach
students about free enterprise. JA feels that
the community member brings ideas to the classroom
that might be missing otherwise. JA calls upon
SBP members to volunteer for us. It gives them
a defined role in their relationship with the
school and helps Junior Achievement as well. |
