Alaska Network for Understanding American History

ANUAH logoThe Alaska Network for Understanding American History (ANUAH) is providing a host of free resources and professional development opportunities for all Alaskan educators who teach American history in their classrooms.  This is the first year of a five-year project, funded through a Teaching American History (TAH) grant from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement.

Project Clio

Project ClioProject Clio/Teaching American History is a federally funded project sponsored by the Anchorage School District and the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Project Clio is producing teacher tested innovative history curriculum that is based on historical themes, relies on primary source documents, and incorporates best practices strategies for teachers.
