How to apply for a Special Education position:

  1. Complete the online ASD application

  2. Get teacher certification application from State of Alaska and immediately begin working with Alaska State Teacher Certification to obtain AK certification.

  3. Request 2 sets of official transcripts

    • give one to ASD Human Resources

    • include the other with your State teacher certification packet

  1. Compile all items needed for State certification into ONE packet and send COMPLETE packet to Juneau (State will not accept faxed forms.)
