The Blue Bird Circle Rett Center at Baylor is involved
in three major activities: Caring, Education, & Research. The Rett
Center at Baylor College of Medicine is one of the few centers in the
United States that specializes in the diagnosis and care of girls and
women with Rett syndrome.

The International Rett Syndrome Association was founded
by parents in early 1984 and became incorporated in January of 1985
as a non-profit organization. IRSA is a partnership of parents and
professionals united in purpose to bring greater understanding of
Rett syndrome.
