As they say in the trade, "This is a work in progress..." I don't have much to say, but as a computer teacher, I'll put a page up so that others may improve on the idea. (I will admit that times have sure changed since using a 110 baud modem to run BASIC programs in high school in 1967! Saving a file meant printing out a paper tape with holes punched in it.)

Having taught at Bartlett since student-teaching in 1981, I have enjoyed watching generations of students move through the school. But after 20+ years, a change a pace has led me to the Technology Coordinator position here at South Anchorage High School. Interests outside of education include cross-country skiing and whitewater boating. While not having time to continue coaching, I have been involved with computerizing ski results. We are continuing our work towards the fulfillment of Tryon's Maxim

Speaking of not typing things more than once, I've posted a spreadsheet on my personal page that allows automatic calculation of menus and food lists for camping / rafting trips. We've used it for a number of years and have found it to be quite helpful. And curious about the latest Sudoku craze, I wrote a little spreadsheet for that, too... Pete's personal home page
