Hello parents and students,

     I am teaching a fifth grade class this year and while I have taught fifth grade before, it has been a while. This is my eleventh year of teaching and like everything else, we learn from experience. I was able to keep many of
my students from last year which helps us to more easily build upon what we learned last year. There continues to be a positive flow between faculty with many veteran teachers returning to Mountain View. We all realize that
students learn more than just reading and writing in school, they also learn how to get along with one another.

     I encourage parents to motivate their children to accomplish homework. I will call home if necessary in addition to providing progress reports.
