What is IGNITE?
IGNITE is an enrichment program that supplements the regular classroom

each week.

The mission of the Anchorage School District IGNITE Program is to enrich
students' learning through the exploration of critical and creative thinking
skills. The students in the Kincaid IGNITE Program will explore the following learning
areas during the school year: Enrichment opportunities, In-Depth Studies,
Complexity of units, Multiple Intelligences, Social/Emotional issues, Risk-Taking
with their learning, Creativity, and Leadership.
