Dear Parents and Guardians,

This week, as we end our first quarter grades, I would like to thank you again for trusting me with your teenagers. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow
academically; and hopefully, they will continue to love or learn to love reading and writing. Please remember to celebrate books together! Even the newspaper will suffice and
remember to share discoveries as a family. Sharing information with your children doesn't have to be planned or even structured. Discussions over morning juice or in
the car is tremendous. Having your children see you and trusted adults actively engaged in reading is also a terrific way to demonstrate the joy in literature.

Please contact me should you have any difficulty accessing grades on ZANGLE. Furthermore, South High is continuing to send progress reports home-how convenient!

Remember, there is no school this Friday or on the on the 30th of October. Enjoy these last remaining days of sunshine and may you and yours find peace and comfort this
