Hello and Welcome to Ms. Childers' Health Class!
I am delighted to be your child's Health/SEL Specialist for Airport Heights and Alpenglow Elementary Schools. I will be helping your students learn all about health
and wellness during their time in
elementary school. It's going to be a great opportunity for students to learn about themselves in a safe and fun way!
The Anchorage School District uses the Great Body Shop curriculum. The following are areas of focus for this school year:
Safety; Personal Safety; Body Systems; Nutrition; Healthy Habits (Lungs & Respiratory System); Human Growth and Development/Hygiene; Germs/Communicable
Diseases/Blood; Just Say
"No!" to Drugs; Physical Fitness/Muscles/Bones

- Friday every other two weeks) and
