Wow! It's already a new school year! The majority of the summer was spent doing what I love to do most with my leisure time----TRAVEL.

My background includes both an Undergraduate degree in Education, a Master's degree plus additional university course work towards an Administrative Certification in Education. I am highly qualified in all the areas that I am teaching. I have taught classes from kindergarten through the college level. I have lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe; and bring to the classroom a wealth of experience from the private business sector as well. My family spent 6 years in the Fairbanks area and most recently, 10+ years in Anchorage. We have years of experience with charter schools, not only as parents of a charter school student but as a teacher in two charter schools.

In addition to Advisory, I will also be teaching Level I Social Environments (Geography) and Level 2 (U.S, History); and Careers classes . I am looking forward to an exciting year!
