Welcome to our classroom, Kindergarten and 1st grade with the Alaska State School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ASSDHH). I am very
excited for this school year! I seek to provide a safe and caring classroom environment where students are free to express themselves,
and to learn and grow. Language and communication development, in American Sign Language and English are central to our learning. Students have the opportunity to learn
and grow in a bilingual environment, rich in language and communication. Students receive individualized instruction which includes speech/language training and occupational/
physical therapy as needed. Students are connected in both hearing and Deaf worlds as they interact with other students and staff here at ASSDHH.
