Welcome to my Anchorage School District Webpage!
My name is Beth (Trowbridge) Craig and this will be my 13th year working in special education in Alaska. I moved to Alaska in 2004 from Wyoming where I taught two years of Preschool Special Education in Cody,
Wyoming. And yes, I am a proud graduate of the University of Wyoming! Go Pokes!
In Anchorage, I have taught Preschool Special Education at Huffman Elementary and Ocean View Elementary in an intensive needs preschool classroom setting.
For the past four years, I have worked with the Preschool Assessment Team at the Early Intervention Services Center.
At the Early Intervention Services Center, we are responsible for evaluating children ages 3 to 5 to determine their eligibility for preschool special education services with the Anchorage School District. I am on a team that
evaluates toddlers transitioning from the Infant Learning Programs (i.e. Programs
for Infants and Children and FOCUS, Inc) to the Anchorage School District as they turn three years old. I really enjoy my role as a special education evaluator, and love that I continue to work with families of preschool
We are located at the ASD Education Center. (At the corner of Boniface/ Northern Lights Blvd). To get to our office, go through the East entrance, and turn right. We are the office on the corner with the cute preschool
hung in the windows.
Please email me if you have any questions. I am happy to help!
Have a great day!
