I am a retired Air Force officer. I was born and raised in Indiana. I enlisted in the Air Force in 1974. My first assignment was Eielsen Air Force Base near Fairbanks. In 1981, I left the Air Force and went to Indiana University. I graduated from Indiana University in 1983 and went back into the Air Force as an officer. I came to Alaska with the Air Force in 1991 and have lived in Anchorage ever since. I have been teaching at West since 2003.
