Welcome to the Birchwood ABC Elementary Library where students and reading come first!
For grades K-3, the library curriculum will be centered on book talks, storytelling, basic library skills, and the love of reading. For grades 4-6 the focus will be on reinforcing the knowledge and skills learned in the earlier grades, learning about literature genres, establishing good research skills, reading for enjoyment, indepth library skills, and supporting study skills needed to complete classroom assignments more easily.
LET'S HAVE A GREAT YEAR EXPLORING THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF READING THROUGH THE LIBRARY!
Donations: are welcome. If you are interested in donating a book to our library in your child's honor, please stop by the library for more information.
